Ah! this was exciting. When Virginia was done work we headed into Osaka and met up with her friends Kristin, Ryuichi and Nakano. (Ryuichi is in the spectacular Nightmare before Christmas garb). Kristin had gone to the dollar store and bout a ton of ears, hats and glowing noses for us to wear. We went out for dinner and then headed into the gaijin (foreigner) area of town. There were so many people in costumes and they were all amazing. Virginia and I felt more than a little underdressed. I stole all these pictures from her as I didn't bring my camera along (thanks Virginia!). Super fun night!
